Effective Date: April 10, 2026. AI GYM PAL is built with a privacy-first architecture. Core workout analysis and AI processing happen on-device, while only limited account data is stored remotely for account functionality.

AI GYM PAL (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the app.
- Core fitness tracking and AI analysis are performed locally on your device.
- No camera images, videos, or pose estimation data are uploaded to our servers.
- Only minimal personal data, specifically an email address, is collected for account-related functionality.
Information We Collect
We collect the following information:
- Email address
This is used solely for:
- User authentication
- Account management
- Access to subscriptions and premium features
Information We Do Not Collect
- Camera images or video recordings
- Pose estimation or exercise motion data
- Health or heart-rate data externally
- Location data
- Contacts or personal files
On-Device Processing
The camera is used for real-time exercise tracking and posture analysis. Processing happens entirely on your device. No camera feed, images, or video recordings are transmitted to our servers.
HealthKit and related sensor data, such as heart rate, are used only for real-time workout feedback and remain on-device unless Apple services process them under the user’s own Apple ecosystem.
Data Storage
Workout sessions, exercise performance, progress history, and preferences are stored locally on your iPhone. This information is not uploaded to our cloud infrastructure.
Your email address may be stored securely using backend services such as Firebase Authentication or Firestore for account access and subscription-related functionality.
Because AI GYM PAL keeps workout and performance data locally for privacy, uninstalling the app may permanently remove that local data from your device.
Third-Party Services
- Authentication and backend: Services such as Firebase may be used to manage email-based account functionality.
- Payments and subscriptions: Managed through Apple’s App Store. We do not receive or store payment card details.
- Advertising: Third-party ad providers may use limited non-sensitive data needed to serve ads. We do not share camera, health, or workout content with advertisers.

Data Retention and Your Rights
Email account data may be retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account data at any time. Depending on your region, you may also have the right to request access to your data or withdraw consent where applicable.

AI GYM PAL is not intended for children under the applicable legal age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
